Terms And Conditions

Effective date: July 15, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Driver’s Permit Practice website at midamericalone.com/driverspermit (the “Service”), operated by Mid-America Lone (“Mid-America Lone,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

This page describes how the Service works and the rules for using it. It is site policy text, not personalized legal advice.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Using the Service means you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Parents or guardians who create accounts for students are responsible for the account and for ensuring that students use the Service under their supervision where required.

2. Who May Use the Service

The Service is intended for households preparing for a state instructional permit / driver’s knowledge exam. A parent (or responsible adult) creates an account and registers one or more students. Students access practice exams with the student email and four-digit code set by the parent.

If you register a student who is a minor, you represent that you are their parent or legal guardian (or have authority to do so) and that you consent to their use of the Service under these Terms.

3. Nature of the Service — Educational Practice Only

Driver’s Permit Practice provides practice questions and related study tools to help students prepare. It is not an official state driver’s license, permit, or knowledge examination. Completing practice on this site does not guarantee that you will pass any official test, obtain a permit, or otherwise meet licensing requirements.

Mid-America Lone is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any state department of revenue, department of motor vehicles, driver licensing agency, or other government authority (including the Missouri Department of Revenue). Official rules and handbooks are controlled by the applicable state agency. Always rely on your state’s official materials for legal driving requirements.

Exam length, scores, emails, and progress reports are tools for practice and family awareness. They are not official transcripts or certification documents.

4. Accounts, Passwords, and Access Codes

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep parent passwords and student access codes confidential.
  • Use only accounts and codes you are authorized to use.
  • Notify us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

You are responsible for activity that occurs under your parent account and under student logins you create. We may suspend or terminate accounts that appear misused, fraudulent, or abusive.

Any account that is abandoned—meaning no sign-in or other meaningful use for six (6) months or longer—is subject to removal. We may delete the parent account, associated student profiles, and related practice data after that period of inactivity. If you wish to keep an account, sign in periodically or contact us before it is removed.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to bypass security, scrape question banks at scale, or disrupt the Service.
  • Misrepresent scores or practice activity as an official license exam result.
  • Interfere with other users’ accounts or the operation of the site.
  • Upload or transmit malware or content that harms Mid-America Lone or others.

We may use measures such as CAPTCHA to reduce automated abuse. Circumventing those measures is prohibited.

6. Intellectual Property

The Mid-America Lone name, logos, site design, and materials we create for the Service are owned by Mid-America Lone or its licensors. Practice questions are provided for personal, non-commercial study through the Service. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, or republish substantial portions of the question bank, branding, or site code without our prior written permission, except as allowed by law (for example, limited personal study use on the site itself).

Official state driver guides and manuals linked or referenced for study remain the property of their respective government publishers. Those materials are subject to their own terms and are not claimed as Mid-America Lone content.

7. Third-Party Links, Ads, and Services

The Service may display advertisements, sponsored images, or links to third-party websites (including merchants or partners). Third-party sites are not controlled by Mid-America Lone. Your use of those sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms and privacy policies. Inclusion of an ad or link is not an endorsement of the third party’s products or services.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MID-AMERICA LONE AND ITS OWNERS, AFFILIATES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10. Privacy

How we collect and use information is described in our Privacy Policy. Please review it carefully. By using the Service, you also acknowledge that policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and close your account if applicable.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Missouri will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service, except where prohibited by applicable law.
