Frequently Asked Questions
Who creates the account?
A parent (or guardian) creates the account on the home page using Sign Up. That account holds one or more students and controls exam length settings.
How does a student start the practice exam?
The student uses Student Login with their student email and the 4-digit code set up for them. Guests cannot take the exam without logging in.
Where do parents sign in?
Use Parent Login in the site header (not on the main Sign Up / Student Login forms). After signing in, parents open the dashboard to manage students and view results.
Can I change how many questions are on the exam?
Yes. On the parent dashboard, choose 25, 50, 75, or 100 for each student and click Save. The next time that student starts an exam, the new length is used.
What emails will I receive?
When a student begins an exam, you get a “beginning” notice. When they finish, you get their score and missed questions (if any). If they quit early, you get an abandoned-exam notice. Each of those emails also includes an approximate Location city from their IP address.
What are the password rules?
Parent passwords must be at least 12 characters and include at least one letter, one number, and one symbol. They cannot contain blocked words such as missouri, drive, drivers, permit, or test, and they cannot contain a student name on the account.
Are these the official Missouri DMV questions?
No. These are practice questions based on the official Missouri Driver Guide. This site is not affiliated with the Missouri Department of Revenue. Use the Study the Driver Guide button on the home page to open a list of state driver guides and handbooks.
I forgot my parent password. What do I do?
On Parent Login, choose Forgot Password, enter your parent email, and set a new password that meets the rules above.
You have emails of parents and students. What will you do with those?
Parents may be put into email campaigns for midamericalone.com or midamericalone.com/driverspermit (aka ridertodriver.com). Student emails are ONLY used for the student to access the test, and for tracking their test results, they will not be emailed as long as their email is ONLY in the student field.
